This is a beautiful quality vintage beaded purse or evening bag made in France. This vintage beaded purse is beaded overall with black glass beads. The clasp is decorated with crystal rhinestones and black and clear glass beads. The purse would date to the 1950s or early 60s. This vintage beaded purse is lined in black satin and has an interior compartment with a side pocket affixed to either side. The side pocket is labeled Hand Made in France. It has a black beaded rope handle. The bag measures 12 3/4 in width at its bottom, the clasp measures 9 1/2 in width and the purse measures 6 1/2 in height exclusive of its handle - the handle has a fall of 5 1/4. It is in very good condition, clean on the interior with no noted missing beads or rhinestone.
